Allows entrances to be created in the lot. Entrances created with the New tool can also be edited.
These procedures assume that a lot has been created in the drawing (see Generate Lot from Boundary).
To Display the Entrances Dialog Box:
- Click Entrances on the ParkCAD toolbar or ribbon.
- In the drawing, select the lot you want to create an entrance in.
Entrances can be created in the following ways:
To Create a New Entrance in the Lot:
This procedure assumes that the Entrances dialog box is open.
- In the Entrances dialog box, click New.
- In the lot, move the temporary entrance to the desired location and then pick the entrance's start point.
- Move the pointer to either side of the start point to drag out the entrance to the desired width and pick the entrance's end point.

- In the New Entrance dialog box set the Width value as well as the Left and Right Side Island Angle values as desired and then click OK.
- The entrance is drawn in the lot and added to the table in the Entrances dialog box.
To Pick Geometry to Create an Entrance in the Lot:
This procedure assumes that Entrances dialog box is open.
- In the Entrances dialog box, click Pick.
- In the drawing, pick a polyline/complex chain.
- The entrance is drawn in the lot and added to the table in the Entrances dialog box.

The width of the entrance between the end islands.
Left Side Island Angle (Left Angle)
The angle of the island on the left side of the entrance.
Right Side Island Angle (Right Angle)
The angle of the island on the right side of the entrance.
