Vehicle Creation Default Values Section

Set the default Lock to Lock Time, Steering Lock Angle, and Articulating Angle values used when creating new vehicles (see Vehicles -> Create New Vehicle).

Insert Profile Units Section

This setting determines which units are used when using the Insert Profiles tool.

• Select Program Settings Units to generate profiles using the units value in Program Settings.
• Select Vehicle Creation Units to generate profiles using the vehicle's Creation Units setting.

Reverse Overrides Section

These settings allow you to set more realistic Steering Lock Angle and Articulating Angle values than what are used in the design vehicles for the purposes of maneuvering vehicles in reverse.

By default, reverse maneuvers with single unit vehicles use the vehicle's steering lock angle. Select the Apply to single unit vehicles checkbox if you want AutoTURN Pro to use this value instead.

Vehicle Export File Format Section

Note: This functionality is only available in AutoTURN and AutoTURN Pro.

By default, AutoTURN Pro version 10 or newer exports custom vehicles in the VEH file format. If you want custom vehicles to be exported as VCL files compatible with AutoTURN Pro version 9.1 or older, select VCL (old format). Additionally, you can select the JSON checkbox to have AutoTURN Pro export custom vehicles in the JSON file format.

Note:

• Selecting VCL (old format) exports associated loads, tracking points, and sight lines as separate files.
• The Vehicle Export File Format section only displays if AutoTURN Pro is authorized (see Installation -> Authorizing the Transoft Product) and you have the Administrator access level (see Permissions Category: Access Levels).
