Program Settings - General Category Dialog Box

Units Section

This setting tells AutoTURN Pro what units should be used to create turn simulations. The Vehicles tool uses this setting to draw the vehicles in their dialog boxes' preview areas. In MicroStation, this setting refers to the master units setting of the design file. Care should be taken to ensure the correct units have been selected before placing a simulation or running an animation.

Units available are:

• inches
• millimeters
• feet
• meters
• centimeters

Save Simulation Section

Note: This functionality is only available in AutoTURN and AutoTURN Pro.

Select In Drawing Folder to have AutoTURN Pro save simulations to the subfolder where the drawing is located. The subfolder name is created by adding "AT-" to the drawing name: AT-drawingname.

Select In Output Folder to have AutoTURN Pro save simulations in the Output folder.

Quick Tour

Select the Show on Startup checkbox to display the Quick Tour dialog box each time the program starts. The Quick Tour feature contains short animations of some of the software's tools in operation.

Usage Data Collection Section

Select this checkbox to allow Transoft Solutions Inc. to collect AutoTURN Pro anonymous usage data.

The types of data collected by Transoft Solutions Inc. include but are not limited to:

• The license number of the product.
• Which CAD platforms are used and how often.
• Which AutoTURN Pro tools are used and how often.
• Which AutoTURN Pro vehicles are used and how often.
• Which custom vehicles are shared and how often.

Transoft Solutions Inc. does not collect any personal and/or private information about the users. The data collection process is entirely anonymous, and it is solely intended for the further improvement of the software developed by the company. The collected data is not shared with third parties, nor is it used for marketing or advertising purposes.

Automatic Updates Notification Section

Select Check on Startup to have AutoTURN Pro search for product updates each time the program starts. To search for product updates, click the Check Now button.

Product Selection Section

This option is available if multiple AutoTURN Pro licenses are installed on the License Server (see Installation -> Installing on a Network). Select the Remember my selected product checkbox to have the current product loaded automatically the next time you start AutoTURN Pro.
