This category allows you to view and edit the approach leg offsets and radii biarc entry’s path start, radius, and secondary radius.

Design Guidelines' Leg Biarc Entry Category Dialog Box

In the dialog box, move the mouse pointer over the controls to view the associated tooltip and then reference the controls described below.

Note: For the purposes of describing the software, it is assumed that Right-Hand Traffic is selected under Traffic Direction in Design Guidelines' General Category. If Left-Hand Traffic is selected, the descriptions with references to a right/left turn path should be interpreted in the opposite direction.

Entry Path Radius Start

Specify the entry path radius start value. This is measured from the inscribed circle diameter to the start of the first radius in the biarc entry.

Entry Path Radius

Specify the entry path radius value. This is the first radius of the path which the design vehicle travels from the entry approach leg to the circulatory path.

Secondary Entry Path Radius

Specify the secondary entry path radius value. This is the second radius of the path which the design vehicle travels from the entry approach leg to the circulating path.
