This category allows you to view and edit the lane widths applied when the Fixed Lane Widths setting is used in the Add Leg and Edit Leg tools.

Design Guidelines' Fixed Lane Widths Category Dialog Box

In the dialog box, move the mouse pointer over the controls to view the associated tooltip and then reference the controls described below.

Note: For the purposes of describing the software, it is assumed that Right-Hand Traffic is selected under Traffic Direction in Design Guidelines' General Category. If Left-Hand Traffic is selected, the descriptions with references to a right/left turn path should be interpreted in the opposite direction.

Make Fixed Lane Widths the default setting when adding legs to a roundabout

If this check box is selected, TORUS will select this as the default setting in the Add Leg and Edit Leg tools.

Lane and Median Widths

Specify the width values for the lanes and the median.

Entry Lane Separator Width (Turbo Vehicle Envelopes Design Method)

Specify the width value for the entry lane separator.
