Override the pedestrian refuge / crosswalk offsets, crosswalk bar / gap width and crosswalk deviation angles specified in the current Design Guidelines' Crosswalk Category.
Configure Crosswalk Dialog Box
In the dialog box, move the mouse pointer over the controls to view the associated tooltip and then reference the controls described below.
For a description of the elements drawn in the roundabout in this category, see
Roundabout Illustration Legend.
For a description of the elements drawn in the turbo roundabout in this category, see
Turbo Roundabout Illustration Legend.
Entry Refuge / Crosswalk Offset (Vehicles Envelope and Turbo Vehicle Envelopes Design Methods)
Specify or use the grip points on the drawing window to adjust the entry refuge/crosswalk offset value. This is the distance that the pedestrian refuge/crosswalk is located from the splitter island envelope edge closest to the roundabout.
Exit Refuge / Crosswalk Offset (Vehicles Envelope and Turbo Vehicle Envelopes Design Methods)
Specify or use the grip points on the drawing window to adjust the exit refuge/crosswalk offset value. This is the distance that the pedestrian refuge/crosswalk is located from the splitter island envelope edge closest to the roundabout.
Note: For Turbo roundabouts, if the entry or exit crosswalk offset cannot be calculated, the crosswalk will be drawn across the leg using the other calculated offset.
Entry Crosswalk Width (Vehicles Envelope and Turbo Vehicle Envelopes Design Methods)
Specify or use the grip points on the drawing window to adjust the entry crosswalk width value.
Exit Crosswalk Width (Vehicles Envelope and Turbo Vehicle Envelopes Design Methods)
Specify or use the grip points on the drawing window to adjust the exit crosswalk width value.
Entry Crosswalk Deviation Angle (Vehicles Envelope and Turbo Vehicle Envelopes Design Methods)
Specify or use the grip points on the drawing window to adjust the entry crosswalk deviation angle value. This is the degree to which the crosswalk is angled in relation to the curb.
Exit Crosswalk Deviation Angle (Vehicles Envelope and Turbo Vehicle Envelopes Design Methods)
Specify or use the grip points on the drawing window to adjust the exit crosswalk deviation angle value. This is the degree to which the crosswalk is angled in relation to the curb.
