Allows a parking design to have its circulation evaluated.
Note: The vehicle used in this tool is specified in the Design Parameters' Movement Vehicle category.
To Evaluate the Circulation of a Parking Lot:
This procedure assumes that a lot has been generated (see Generate Lot from Boundary). It is recommended that entrances also be created in the parking lot (see Entrances).
- Click Evaluate Circulation Movements on the ParkCAD toolbar or ribbon.
- In the drawing click inside a lot. The Evaluate Circulation Movements dialog box displays.
- In the Evaluate Circulation Movements dialog box click New.
- In the drawing, click inside an entrance or an aisle.
- In an aisle, click the desired direction of travel.
- Repeat step 5 as desired to advance the movement.
- Click inside an entrance to exit the parking lot or click in the stop sign and then a point to end the movement.
- Click in the movement to place a vehicle.
- Repeat step 8 as desired.
- Right-click to finish creating the movement.
- Repeat this procedure to add more movements to continue evaluating the parking lot's circulation.

Name
The name of the movement.
Entrance
The name of the entrance where the movement enters the parking lot.
Exit
The name of the entrance where the movement exits the parking lot.
Length
The path length of the movement.
New
Click this button to create a new movement.
Edit
Click this button and then pick the movement at a corner to change the corner geometry.
Delete
Click this button to delete the selected movement.
