When the Copy, Move or Import from Database commands are used, the Stand Setup tab is in the Move Stand Setup mode. When in this mode, parameters can be defined for (re)positioning and existing stand design.
The top row in the Move Stand Setup tab controls the drawing X,Y plane or Terrain on which the Stand session is to be placed.
The second section in the Move Stand Setup tab controls the Stand reference system, a local X,Y coordinate system within which the positions and distances at the gate can be measured.
If the session has been placed on the drawing X,Y plane (i.e., a terrain object is not in use), the stand reference system also contains an arrow to specify the apron slope direction. It is critical that the stand reference system is placed at a position from which there is one uniform slope to the pavement area where airplanes are parked.
The bottom row in the Move Stand Setup tab can be used to lock the X,Y position and orientation of the session when it is repositioned in the drawing. If this checkbox is selected, all coordinates, except elevation (Z), from the original session are used when placing the session in the drawing. Elevation is taken from the drawing X,Y plane or terrain selected in the top row.
