When the Copy, Move, or Import from Database tools are running, the Path tab is in the Move Path mode. When in this mode, parameters can be defined for (re)positioning an existing path design.
The top row in the Move Path tab controls the drawing X,Y plane or terrain on which the Path session is to be placed.
Note: It is also possible to interactively add terrains during path construction via Session Manager -> Drawing Settings -> Terrains. This prevents having to save and close the current session to access the Drawing Manager tool and then return to path construction.
The second row in the Move Path tab shows (read-only) the insertion method that was used during path construction prior to activation of the Move mode. See Path for an explanation of the various insertion methods.
The third row in the Move Path tab shows (read-only) the insertion point that was used during path construction prior to activation of the Move mode. See Path for an explanation of the various insertion points.
The bottom row in the Move Path tab can be used to lock the X,Y position and orientation of the session when it is repositioned in the drawing. If this checkbox is selected, all coordinates, except elevation (Z), from the original session are used when placing the session in the drawing. Elevation is taken from the drawing X,Y plane or terrain selected in the top row.
After inserting the object in the drawing, the tab changes to the Path mode.
