AutoTURN Pro 11.0 Help
Edit Vehicle Details - Roofline View
Tools > Vehicles > Edit Vehicle Details - Roofline View
Note: This functionality is only available in AutoTURN and AutoTURN Pro.

This dialog box is used to edit the selected custom vehicle's details as well as access the vehicle's corners, steering linkages, axle group details, cargo details, roofline, height, connector heights, ground clearances, vehicle information, loads, sight lines, and tracking points.

Note: If Permissions are enabled, an equivalent or higher access level than that of the custom vehicle is required to edit or delete the custom vehicle (see Program Settings -> Permissions Category: Access Levels). If the access level is lower than the vehicle, the dialog box will display the vehicle's details in a viewing mode.

Roofline View Data Dialog Box

Roofline/Outline Section

Select a roofline/outline from the list or click Import Outline or Roofline pick a pre-drawn polyline / complex chain.

If the picked element is an open polyline / complex chain (roofline):

Example of a roofline drawing (grey lines are parametrically drawn by AutoTURN Pro)

If the picked element is a closed polyline / complex chain (outline):

Example of an outline drawing (encompassing the entire vehicle/part)

Note: The custom roofline will no longer be available if you select a different roofline from the Roofline list. The custom roofline will need to be re-imported.

Connector Heights Section

The connector heights default to the part's respective ground clearance values depending on the tractor and trailer types. Select the Override check box to specify custom values.

Ground Clearances Section

These are the distances from the ground to the underside of the vehicle at the Front, Wheelbase, and Rear locations of the vehicle. Click Chamfers to specify chamfers for the profile of the vehicle.
