Refines a triarc created with the Refine Edges tool. A triarc consists of three arc elements that are tangent to the selected segment ends and to each other at connections.
For an example of how arcs are refined, please play the Refine Edges tutorial (for information on how to play a tutorial, see Tutorials -> Play).
Select to modify the R1, R2, and R3 values of the refined triarc.
Select to modify only the R2 value of the refined triarc.
Specify the radii for each section of the arc selected for refinement.
Radius | Section Highlight Color |
R1 | Red |
R2 | Green |
R3 | Blue |
To modify the arc geometry, adjust the R1, R2, and R3 radii by typing or selecting the desired values in the corresponding boxes. As you modify the R1, R2, and R3 values, the arc will update accordingly.
Specify the radius increment. To modify the radius increment, type the desired value in the Increment edit box.
Shifts the arc endpoints. To shift the arc endpoints, adjust the start (S) and end (E) points of the arc by typing or selecting the desired values in the corresponding boxes. As you modify the S and E values, the arc will update accordingly.
Specify the endpoint shift increment.
