Draws lines and arcs based on the locations of the roundabout edges that can be fine tuned to more closely represent final edges.

Please be aware that movements and sight lines are based on the roundabout's road edges, not the refined edges.

After using the Refine Edges tool, ensure that the roundabout design has not been compromised.

Note: The Refine Edges tool can only be applied to roundabouts generated using the vehicle envelopes based design guidelines.

Reset Refined Edges Section

Note: TORUS will use all values in this section for calculating the fastest path data based on refined edges (see Evaluate Fastest Path).

Convert arcs to lines when radius greater than

Specify the maximum radius for Refined Edges arcs; arcs with radii greater than the displayed value are converted into lines by TORUS.

Replace kinks with arcs of radius

Specify the radius value of the arc(s) TORUS will draw to replace kinks created by refined edges.

Round arc radii to nearest

Specify the place value that TORUS will round all arcs created by refined edges.

	Refine Arcs	Refine an arc created with the Refine Edges tool. After you click this button, click two points in the desired arc that are at least two arc elements apart.
	Replace Refined Edge	Replace a generated refined edge with a polyline drawn in AutoCAD or MicroStation. After you click this button, pick the refined edge you want to have replaced, and then pick the polyline to replace it with.
	Reset to Default Values	Reset all values under Reset Refined Edges to their default values.
	Export Curve Table	Export the roundabout refined edge data to a curve table file (i.e. a comma delimited file which can be edited in any spreadsheet or text editor, e.g. Microsoft® Excel or Microsoft® Notepad).
	Insert Curve Table	Have a roundabout refined edge data report placed in the drawing. After you click this button, pick a point in the drawing to specify the place for the roundabout refined edge data table. Note: A roundabout refined edge data report consists of a curve table and a line table which contain the data on the arcs and lines labeled in the report accordingly.
	Delete Refined Edges	Delete the refined edges for the design.
