This category allows you to view and edit the approach radius 2 values applied to the FDOT Geometric Design Method roundabouts.

Design Guidelines' Approach Radius 3 Category Dialog Box

In the dialog box, move the mouse pointer over the controls to view the associated tooltip and then reference the controls described below.

Offset Left

Specify the offset value. This is an offset of the leg reference geometry to determine one end point of the TAN 2 extension line. It is at the intersection of the offset of the leg reference geometry and a line perpendicular to the TAN 2 extension line running through the center of the roundabout or the end of the leg reference geometry element if the leg reference geometry does not extend to the center of the roundabout.

Outer Entry Radius

Specify the radius value of the outer entry arc.

Approach Radius 3

Specify the radius value of Approach Radius 3 arc.

Inner Exit Radius

Specify the radius value of the inner exit arc.

Outer Exit Radius

Specify the radius of the outer exit arc.
