This feature is not available in GuideSIGN.
Allows reference lines and offset reference geometry to be added, renamed, or deleted. Allows terrains to be selected for referencing 3D signs. Additionally, horizontal clearances from the reference line and offset reference geometry can be specified and edited.
Note: This tool requires existing CAD elements in the drawing to act as the reference lines and offset reference geometry. The elements may consist of lines and arcs, a polyline/complex chain, or an alignment. Lines and arcs can not be combined with polylines/complex chains or alignments.
Displays a list of available reference lines and corresponding offset reference geometry. The horizontal clearance for each reference line and offset reference geometry is indicated in parentheses. To select a reference line or offset reference geometry, click the desired item in the list.
Button | Option | Click to... |
Add Reference Line | Add a reference line for placing the sign support symbols in the sign plan drawing.
Add Offset Reference Geometry | Add offset reference geometry for the currently selected reference line. Offset reference geometry is used in addition to the reference line to help specify the location of the sign support symbol.
Rename | Rename the currently selected reference line or offset reference geometry.
Edit Horizontal Clearance | Edit the horizontal clearance for the currently selected reference line or offset reference geometry.
Delete | Delete the currently selected reference line or offset reference geometry. |
Note:
Select the desired terrain in the list to reference the 3D signs. Terrains can be AutoCAD surfaces or MicroStation terrains.
Note: The XY Plane is provided as representation of the Cartesian coordinate system where the z value can be specified.
