    Sign Definition Section

Allows you to modify the street name elements as desired. If you want the software to remove one or more elements before it places the sign, clear the Draw check box to the right of such element(s). As you modify the Sign Definition parameters, the Sign Preview will update accordingly.

    Name Lookup

Type part of the desired place name, and then click Name Lookup which displays in the rightmost part of the Place Name box. A list of all names that match or partially match the specified text displays in the Name Suggestions dialog box. Select the desired place name, and then click OK.

For information on selecting, adding, and editing name dictionaries, see Program Settings' Dictionary - Design Category.

    Sign Preview

Displays the preview of the guide sign to be created from the currently selected template. To force preview the last parameter modified, press TAB.

    Change Template

Allows you to change the sign template for the sign. If you click Change Template, the Select Template dialog box will display, and you will be able to select a different template library and/or sign.

    Edit

Allows you to edit the street name sign template before placing the sign (see Edit Sign).

    Information

Displays the description of the current sign (i.e. the suggested use, the reference source, and the sizes and fonts (letter series) for the major text).
