This feature is not available in GuideSIGN SIGMA.
Allows you to modify the sign legend as desired.
Each element in a template is selected to draw by default. The sign is previewed with whatever is currently displayed in the Replacement Value column. Set elements to not draw by one of the following ways:
Cardinal Directions: Select a different cardinal direction from the list.
Route Shields: Select a different route shield and/or enter a route number by clicking Change.
Place Names: Type the destination in the Place Name box or use the Name Lookup feature (see Name Lookup).
Distance strings: Type the whole number distance in the Number box. Select the desired fraction or None in the Fraction box. Select the desired units or None in the Units box.
As you modify the Sign Definition parameters, the Sign Preview will update accordingly.
Note: As you create a sign for the template, be sure to place the components of a place name as separate text entities (i.e. they must be placed in a sign as separate text placement functions). The software will handle them as individual elements of a template, and you will be able to modify or remove any of them separately (for more information on creating signs for templates and templates from signs, see Create Template from Guide Sign: Creating Signs for Templates Tips and Create Template from Guide Sign: Template Creation Tips.
Type part of the desired place name, and then click Name Lookup which displays in the rightmost part of the Place Name box. A list of all names that match or partially match the specified text displays in the Name Suggestions dialog box. Select the desired place name, and then click OK.

Allows you to modify the panel width and height. By default, the Panel Width and Panel Height boxes are unavailable. If you want to modify the panel width and/or height, select the corresponding Lock check box(es), and then type the desired value(s).
Displays the preview of the guide sign to be created from the currently selected template. To force preview the last parameter modified, press TAB.
Allows you to change the sign template for the sign. If you click Change Template, the Select Template dialog box will display, and you will be able to select a different template library and/or sign.
Displays the description of the current sign (i.e. the suggested use, the reference source, and the sizes and fonts (letter series) for the major text).
To have the software display the ranges, alignments, and base points of each sign element in the Sign Preview, select the Display Ranges, Alignments and Base Points of Objects check box.
