    Lead-in line
    In This Topic

The Lead-in line tab contains all parameters and information regarding the lead-in line(s) used in the Stand session. Entering the Lead-in line tab the first time shows an empty table.

    Add Lead-in line

Click the Add Lead-in Line AVP_Stand_Add button to add a Lead-in line.

The Lead-in line together, with the Nose limit and Rear limit, will be shown as a ghosted preview, ready for placement in the drawing, with the cursor at the origin (front) of the Lead-in Line. Move the cursor in the drawing to define the location of this Lead-in line point. Click in the drawing to confirm and rotate the Lead in line into the desired direction. Set the Nose Limit that indicates the limit for the airplane nose(s). This limit is usually set to keep enough distance between airplane nose and building/service road. Set the Rear Limit that indicates the limit for the airplane tail(s) and wing(s). This limit is at the safety line between stand and apron taxilane if the airplanes are allowed to be parked with their tail or wing up to this line. If not, the limit is normally set inside the stand at a certain distance from the safety line.

Note: It is only possible to remove lead-in lines in reverse order (i.e. starting with the most recently added bridge).

After one or multiple lead-in line(s) have been placed, the table is filled with data.

    Label

A label can be set for the Lead-in line (default is LL1 for the first line).

    X,Y

Refers to the origin position of the lead-in line, either in Local stand coordinates or Drawing coordinates (see Stand Setup tab).

    Direction

Refers to the orientation of the line.

    Nose, Rear Limits

Refers to the Nose Limit and Rear Limit position along the Lead-in line, compared to the indicated origin. For example, F6.00 m means 6.00 meters forward from the origin and B52.00 m means 52.00 meters backwards from the origin.

    In-drawing context menu options

While working in any tab, the position of the lead-in line(s) can be altered simply by clicking in the drawing.

    AVP_Stand_LeadinLine_ContextMenu

Select one of the menu options and proceed with the related action in the drawing. Note that the menu option to move the stop line only appears in case a stop line is clicked and the stop line positioning is not automatic. Thereafter, the values in the dialog are updated. For the Lead-in line the buttons in the dialog can perform the same action.
