In the Object tab, the object to be used in the path simulation can be selected. Selections can be made using the recently used object list or by clicking either the Browse for object in library or Select object from drawing button on the right side of the list.
At the top of the tab, a list that includes all recently used objects is available.
If an airplane is selected in the Object box, additional controls display to facilitate the selection of a towbarless tractor or a conventional tractor with a towbar. If a conventional tractor is selected, the Select truck variant list (to select whether the tractor will be used to push or pull with two or four wheel steering, when applicable) will be available in addition to the Select towbar length list and box.
In the Select towbar length list, there is the choice whether the standard length for the towbar is used, or whether a user-defined length needs to be applied. In the first case, the standard towbar length displays as a read-only value in the box to the right of the list. In the second case, the length of the towbar can be modified.
Clicking the browse button displays the Select Object dialog box where airplanes, helicopters, or vehicles can be sorted and filtered before selection.
The Select object from drawing button to the right of the Browse for object in library button makes it possible to select an existing AviPLAN Airside Pro object in the drawing. The selected object can be an airplane, a helicopter, a vehicle, or a combination. Once an object has been selected, the Object box(es) will be populated.
