Click the Create Report button on the Quick Access toolbar to display a dialog box with the settings for creating an external report with detailed group path information.
Note: Reports can also be generated using the Drawing Manager dialog box by right-clicking the applicable session or sessions (selecting multiple sessions is not available for all types of sessions and reports) and clicking Create Report on the shortcut menu.
Template file
In the Template file list, default and user-defined (if available) report templates are available for selection.
Default template file
- (CSV) Group Lead-in result: A report in the CSV format compatible with Microsoft Excel that contains the same information as in the Group Lead-in Results dialog box.
To the right of the list, there are three buttons:
- Browse for a template file: There are standard template files delivered in the software, but it is also possible to edit them and store the modified file as a new user-defined template file. Click this button to select such a template file;
- Edit selected template: Click this button to edit the template file selected in the list. Note that this button is not available for CSV reports. See Report Customization Parameters;
- Delete selected template: Click this button to remove the selected template. Note that this button is not available for default templates because they cannot be removed.
Options
- Zoom to session: Zoom the session in the drawing;
- Save report file: Create a report file of the session;
- Open report when created: Open the report after it has been created.
