Only certain adjustments may be possible via the grips. There are often some more items that can be edited within the properties of the road markings. You may also wish to type in a specific width of offset rather than move a grip arbitrarily.
To access these more comprehensive set of properties for each object, GuideSIGN Markings provides an additional keyproperties dialog.
AutoCAD: The simplest way is to double-click that item.
Note
If two or more items are highlighted then the properties will not be accessed – it needs just one item highlighted when you double-click. Pressing Esc before double clicking will ensure this works as expected.
Microstation: In order to access this function in Microstation you will need to select an Edit Elements item from the GuideSIGN Markings Edit menu.
All CADs: In most cases this will result in this dialog (shown right) |
However, sometimes the edit text or edit labels dialog may appear in preference (shown below).
The properties and values shown can be editing or altered by typing a new value, using the up down arrows, or removing/add ticks. This should be similar to most options and settings in other Windows programs.
