Vehicle Draw Options Section

Allows you to choose which elements to draw and set each element's color and line style. To have an element drawn, select the corresponding check box. Click Properties to set the layer/level, color, line style, and transparency for the elements that are selected to be drawn. To have the vehicle and tire elements filled, select the corresponding Filled check boxes. To display the realistic view of a vehicle whenever it is drawn, select the Realistic check box.

Note:

• The Tire Treads check box cannot be selected unless the Tires check box is first selected.
• The Vehicle element is always drawn in movements.
• If the Vehicle Name is set to draw, the vehicle group and name will be drawn in every vehicle instance in the movement.

Draw Vehicles At

Vehicles are always drawn at the start and the end of the movement, and they can also be drawn at spaced intervals along the path.

• To have vehicles drawn at the ends of the movement only, click Path Ends.
• To have vehicles drawn at spaced intervals, click Intervals. Enter the spacing between vehicle placements in the corresponding edit box. The value is expressed in vehicle lengths. For example, a value of 1 would result in vehicles being drawn with the end of one coinciding with the beginning of the next.

Reset Properties

Click this button to reset the properties in all category pages to the currently loaded property set file.

Save Properties

Click this button to save the current properties to a file. When you click this button, the Save Properties dialog box displays. In the Name box, type the desired name for the property set file, and then click OK.

Load Properties

Click this button to load a previously saved property set file. When you click this button, the Load Properties dialog box displays. Select the desired property set file in the list, and then click OK.

Extract Properties

Click this button, and then select an existing roundabout, movement, sight line to replace the current properties with the properties from that which was selected.

Update

Click this button, and then pick an existing roundabout in the drawing to update the roundabout to the currently displayed properties . This is useful for making changes to existing roundabouts without having to regenerate or place them again.
