Units Section

This setting tells TORUS what units should be used for designing roundabouts and evaluating the fastest path, sight lines, and movements. In MicroStation, this setting refers to the master units setting of the design file. Units available are:

• inches
• millimeters
• feet
• meters
• centimeters

Usage Data Collection Section

To allow Transoft Solutions Inc. to collect TORUS anonymous usage data, select the Allow anonymous usage data collection check box.

The usage data collected by Transoft Solutions Inc. includes:

• The license number of the product.
• Which CAD platforms are used and how often.
• Which TORUS tools are used and how often.
• Which TORUS vehicles are used and how often.
• Which TORUS custom vehicles are shared and how often.
• How many legacy simulations are upgraded.
• Customize Axle Spacing - how many times axle spacing is customized.
• Welcome Screen - how many times this is displayed.

Transoft Solutions Inc. does not collect any personal and/or private information about the users. The data collection process is entirely anonymous, and it is solely intended for the further improvement of the software developed by the company. The collected data is not shared with third parties, nor is it used for marketing or advertising purposes.

Automatic Updates Notification Section

To have TORUS search for product updates each time the program starts, select the Check on Startup check box. To search for product updates, click the Check Now button.
