TORUS 2025 Help
TORUS employs the following file types:

| typ | Custom (user-created) types are imported from .typ files. |
| vcl | Custom (user-created) vehicles are imported from .vcl files. |

Schematic vehicle part drawing profiles are stored as the tractor types and trailer types .dwg (ACAD) and .cel (MSTN) files in the PartTypes folder. Standard type Profile drawings (.dwg) are stored in the Types folder. Custom (user-created) Realistic Vehicle drawings are required to be .dwg (ACAD) or .cel (MSTN) files. Custom (user-created) Profile drawings are required to be .dwg (ACAD) or .cel (MSTN) files. Tutorial drawings used in the tutorials are .dwg (ACAD) and .dgn (MSTN) files stored in the Tutorials folder. |
| tut | Tutorials are stored in the Tutorials folder as .tut files. |
| csv | The friction.csv comma delimited file stored in the FrictionData folder. |
| sdf | The TsTORUS50.sdf Microsoft SQL CE database file stored in the database folder. |
| bmp | Roundabout Template image file for display in the Roundabout Wizard tool. |
| wiz | Roundabout Template file (placed via Roundabout Wizard tool). |
