Program Settings - General Category
Select the units of measure for the current drawing from the drop down box. This setting tells ParkCAD what units are used in the creation of the CAD elements. This setting also controls the display of data throughout the program. All parameters will be displayed in the units specified here.
Choose between Degrees and Gons for the display of angle representations wherever angles are displayed in the program.
Check this option to have ParkCAD display the Information dialog box while using the Generate tools:

The Information dialog box dynamically updates to show the Row Angle and Stall Count while generating and editing rows and lots.
The Information dialog box contains a small menu accessed via the small down arrow icon in the lower right corner of the dialog box. The dialog box’s transparency can be adjusted and the dialog box can be disabled so that it does not display while using ParkCAD tools. It can be re-enabled by toggling Display Information Dialog in Program Settings.
Check this option to have ParkCAD display the Tool Prompt dialog box for each of ParkCAD’s design, editing, numbering and reporting tools:

The Tool Prompt dialog box displays the current tool’s user prompts in a window that users can move to any location on the screen. Detailed prompts are displayed here while shorter prompts are displayed in the command prompt area.
The Tool Prompt dialog box contains a small menu accessed via the small down arrow icon in the lower right corner of the dialog box. The dialog box can be set to Auto Hide when the mouse is not over it and the transparency can also be adjusted. Users can also disable the Tool Prompt dialog box so that it does not display while using ParkCAD tools. It can be re-enabled by toggling Display Tool Prompt Dialog in Program Settings.
To allow Transoft Solutions Inc. to collect ParkCAD anonymous usage data, select the Allow anonymous usage data collection check box (for information on data collection, see Overview -> Data Collection).
To have ParkCAD search for product updates each time the program starts, select the Check on Startup check box. To search for product updates, click the Check Now button.
