A usage report lists, for each month, all users who used the software, how many times each user logged in to the software, and the number of times each user was refused access to the software (i.e. because the maximum number of users had been reached). If a report shows many "logins refused" values greater than zero, acquisition of additional program licenses should be considered. This procedure assumes that the License Server Administration Tool dialog box is displaying and currently administrating the product that you want to generate a usage report for (see To Administrate a License).

To generate a user log report for the product currently being administered, in the License Server Administration Tool dialog box, click Usage Report.
