Allows the span length to be specified for the sign support of the sign assembly that is being placed in the sign plan drawing.

Note: This dialog box is only available when the sign support type is set to: Cantilever, Butterfly Cantilever, Span, or Span+Cantilever (see Create Sign Assembly: Sign Support Type)

Set Span Length Dialog Box

Default Span Length

Click Default Span Length to set the span length to the default value of 14 feet per sign group. If you use any other design units, the default value will be converted accordingly (for information on specifying the design units, see Program Settings' General - Plan Category: Roadway Placement).

Set Span Length

Click this option, specify the desired span length in the box, click Apply, and then click Next to specify the span length for the sign support of the sign assembly.

To manually define the span length, move the pointer in an appropriate direction to modify the span length as desired, and then click to set the span length. As you move the pointer, the Set Span Length value will update accordingly.
