This feature is not available in GuideSIGN.

Allows the sign facing to be specified for the sign assembly that is being placed in the sign plan drawing.

Set Sign Assembly Angle Dialog Box

Note: The Perpendicular to Reference option is available in the Set Sign Assembly Angle dialog box if the sign support symbol was placed relative to a reference line or offset reference geometry (see Place Sign Support Symbol).

Perpendicular to Reference

Click this option and then click Next to set the sign assembly angle perpendicular to the reference line or offset reference geometry specified when the sign support symbol was being placed in the sign plan drawing (see Place Sign Support Symbol).

Set Sign Assembly Angle

Click this option, specify the desired angle in the box, click Apply, and then click Next to specify the sign assembly angle.

To manually choose the sign assembly angle, rotate the sign support symbol in the drawing as necessary, and then click to position the sign support symbol. As you rotate the sign support symbol, the Set Sign Assembly Angle value will update accordingly.

Note:

The sign assembly angle is measured counter-clockwise from zero degrees East to a normal of the sign (i.e. perpendicular to the sign face of sign group 1).

The sign assembly angle displayed/specified in the Set Sign Assembly Angle dialog box is always based on sign group 1.
