Click the button icon on the Quick Access toolbar to display a dialog box with settings for creating an external report with detailed stand information.
Note:
- Reports can also be generated using the Drawing Manager dialog box by right-clicking the applicable session or sessions (multi-select not available for all session and report types) and clicking Create Report on the shortcut menu.
- Creating reports from a multiple selection of the Stand sessions in the Drawing Manager dialog box has the following advantages:
- Creating CSV reports from a multiple selection of sessions will merge all data from each stand into one single report. This can be very useful when creating an overview for a whole apron or terminal area.
- ODT reports will be saved to a common folder that is selected during the creation process, and they will not be merged.
Template file
In the Template file list, default and user-defined (if available) report templates are available for selection.
Default template files:
In the Template file list, default and user-defined (if available) report templates are available for selection. The supported options are as follows:
- Contact stand report (ODT): A report in the Open Office format (.odt) that contains an image of the session and also detailed information on the session setup, including the bridge(s), lead-in line(s), and services such as fuel pit(s). The airplane docking results are shown in one table whereas the connection to fuel pit(s) and possible other services are shown in another table.
- Stand planning matrix (CSV): A report in the .csv format compatible with Microsoft Excel that shows the same information as the contact stand report.
- Operations matrix (CSV): A report in the .csv format compatible with Microsoft Excel that shows a table with the airplane models in the rows and the stand as a column. In the table cells, the stop lines are indicated so it is easy for to see for an airplane model which stop line it has to make a stop on.
To the right of the list there are three buttons:
- Browse for a template file: There are standard template files delivered in the software, but it is also possible to edit them and store the modified file as a new user-defined template file. Click this button to select such a template file.
- Edit template file: Click this button to edit the template file shown in the list. Note that this button is not available for the .csv reports. See Report Customization Parameters.
- Remove template: Click this button to remove a template. Note that this button is not available for default templates because they cannot be removed.
