The Sessions tab shows two sub-tabs: In Drawing and In Database.
In the In Drawing tab the sessions that are stored in the drawing are visible.
These sessions can be copied to the database. This is done by clicking the Copy to database button in the subject session cell. Note that also multiple sessions can be selected (with the default Windows method with Ctrl or Shift button) and by selecting the button that belongs to one of the sessions, all sessions are being copied to the database.
In the In Database tab the sessions that are stored in the local database are visible.
Sessions that are stored in the database can be copied into a drawing in the Path, Stand or Park commands (see the Quick Access toolbar explanation for each command). Note that this is possible when working in drawings on the same computer as the database. An interesting aspect of reusing sessions in this way is that it is independent of the CAD platform. So a session created in AutoCAD can be reused in a MicroStation drawing.
The sessions in the local database can also be made available to others that do not have access to the local database. This is done by using the Export to File button. Also here it is possible to select one or multiple sessions for export. Sessions can be imported into a local AviPLAN Airside Pro database on another computer using the Import to data from file button.
