Data Manager manages data transfer between drawings and the AviPLAN Airside Pro database or between the database and external files. Data can consist of Path, Group Path, Stand, Fillet and Park sessions as well as custom vehicles, service arrangements, custom bridges, property templates and object groups.

Data is divided into four categories:

• Sessions: All sessions that are created in drawings using the AviPLAN Airside Pro Path, Group Path, Stand, Fillet and Park commands.
• Property Templates: Templates with selected elements and properties for Path, Group Path, Stand, Fillet and Park sessions.
• Object Groups: Groups of airplanes created with Group Manager.
• User-defined Objects: Vehicles, service arrangements or passenger boarding bridges that are created and saved using Vehicle Editor, Service Editor and Bridge Editor.

Data Manager has access to a local AviPLAN Airside Pro database on the computer where AviPLAN Airside Pro is installed as well as to data that is stored in the drawing that is in use. With the tools available in Data Manager, data can be transferred between drawing and database and from database to external files. These external files can be used to get access to sessions in other drawings or give other users access to sessions, property templates, object groups and user-defined objects.
