Passenger Boarding Bridges are not produced in large series so it is not uncommon that specific modifications are undertaken at an airport. Using the Bridge Editor command, which can be accessed from the AviPLAN Airside Pro ribbon, toolbar or menu, or from the Bridge tab in the Stand command, it is possible to configure such a bridge by modifying a standard bridge from the AviPLAN Airside Pro library.

When the Bridge Editor is opened from the AviPLAN Airside Pro ribbon, toolbar or menu, bridges must be saved as user-defined [U] objects for use in the Stand command. These bridges can be reopened for further customization at a later date. When the Bridge Editor is opened from the Bridge tab in the Stand command, bridges can be configured [C] for use in the current session, without the need to save.

See Bridge for further information about [U] and [C] bridges.
