The Edit view is displayed when a bridge has been selected and opened. The characteristics of the selected bridge can be modified in order to create the desired bridge, including correct tunnel dimensions, rotunda angle, cab rotation and more. Service equipment can also be appended to the bridge.

    Bridge Settings

On the left side of the dialog, the Bridge Settings pane lists all of the available options for the selected bridge type.

    Editing Bridge Settings

Expanding the node associated with the bridge component that is to be edited reveals applicable controls.

Note: As user-defined bridges are based on existing models from the object library, value fields may be restricted by the limits set by the bridge manufacturer. For example, the minimum length cannot be less than the minimum of the existing model.

    Adding new service equipment

To add a new piece of service equipment, click the button under Add New Service Equipment, located at the bottom of the Bridge Settings pane. A pop-up dialog will appear where the object Type can be selected.

Bridge Editor - Add service equipment
After clicking OK, the new object will be added to the list in the Bridge Settings pane, with a predefined position based on object type. From there, the object can be reconfigured and repositioned as required.

    Bridge Preview

On the right side of the dialog, the Bridge Preview window displays a preview of the bridge, with the field/dimension that is selected in the Bridge Setting pane indicated in red in the preview.

    Pan/Zoom

It is possible to pan and zoom in the Bridge Preview using standard CAD mouse wheel methodology (press and drag the wheel to pan the view, roll the wheel to zoom the view and double-click the wheel to zoom the view to extents)

Modify the characteristics as desired and then save the bridge using the Save icon in the Quick Access toolbar. Once saved, a user-defined bridge can be selected in the Stand command from the recent list or via the Select Object dialog.
