    Change Sign Groups/Annotations Angle
    In This Topic

This feature is not available in GuideSIGN.

Allows the angle to be modified for the sign groups/annotations of an existing sign assembly.

Change Sign Groups/Annotations Angle Dialog Box

    Maintain Current Sign Groups/Annotations Angle

Click this option and then click Finish to preserve the current sign groups/annotations angle.

    Same as Sign Facing

Click this option and then click Finish to set the sign groups/annotations angle to the value that was specified in the Change Sign Facing dialog box.

    Normal View (Right Hand View)

Click this option and then click Finish to place the sign groups/annotations at a zero (0) degree rotation angle in the Cartesian coordinate system.

    Set Angle

Click this option, specify an angle in the box, click Apply and then click Finish to specify the sign groups/annotations angle relative to the reference line or offset reference geometry specified when the sign support symbol was being placed in the sign plan drawing.

To manually choose the sign groups/annotations angle, rotate the sign groups/annotations in the drawing as necessary, and then click to set their angle. As you rotate the sign groups/annotations, the Set Angle value will update accordingly.

Note: By default, all sign groups are drawn in increasing increment from left to right of each other. You can use basic CAD tools to select an individual sign group, and then move it to new a location for placement or rotation. If a leader line is required, it will have to be drawn using the available CAD tools.
