Allows a custom sign support symbol to be placed in the sign assembly.

Select Custom Sign Support Symbol Dialog Box

Look In Section

Displays the path of the folder where the software will look for support symbol libraries (drawing files that contain custom sign support symbols), %appdata%\Transoft Solutions\GuideSIGN 2024.8.2\Contents User\Plan\Support Symbols by default. To specify a different folder, type its path in the Look In box, or click Locate the folder, and then use the Browse for Folder dialog box to select the desired folder.

Search Section

Search for symbols using Criteria and a Key word rather than by the symbol name. (e.g. a search for "pede" using the Long Description criterion will return all symbols from multiple classifications that include "pede" in the long description, such as "pedestrian signs").

Criteria

Select the desired criteria in the Criteria list.

Key Word

Specify a key word to search for in the box and then click GO.

GO

Starts a search using the selected Criteria and Key word specified under Search.

Note: To clear a search and return to the entire symbol library, delete the key word and then click GO.

Browse for Symbol

Allows you to browse for a symbol. To select a symbol, click the desired symbol in the list.
