The table below provides the M.U.T.C.D. highway signing classification where signs are specified first by the intended area of use (Road Classification), and then by the designation of a sign (Sign Type).

The sign templates supplied with the software are organized according to the classification above. It is recommended to employ these classifications and sign types when templates are created with the Create Template from Sign tool. However, you can add your own Road Classification and Sign Type categories and use them along with the ones supplied with the software.
