Allows you to specify shield parameters such as County name and Route number as applicable.

Panel Information Section

Displays the panel style, drawing units, and M.U.T.C.D. Edition of the currently selected panel.

Width

Displays the shield's default width as calculated from the shield height (which is calculated from the panel style parameters) and the proportions of the shield. To allow the default width to be overridden, select the Manual Sizing check box, click Set next to the Width box, type a new value and then press TAB - the Height will be resized based on the shield's proportions.

Height

Displays the shield's default height as calculated from the panel style parameters. To allow the default height to be overridden, select the Manual Sizing check box, click Set next to the Height box, type a new value and then press TAB - the Width will be resized based on the shield's proportions.

Select this check box to allow the Width and/or Height to be overridden.  

Replaceable Fields

• Specify the county name where applicable.
• Specify the route number(s) (Route 1, Route 2) where applicable.
• Specify the letter designation(s) (Alpha 1, Alpha 2) where applicable.

Note:

• The height, font (letter series), justification, and position of the replaceable fields stored inside the shield will be used when the shield is previewed and placed in the sign panel.
• The route number and letter designations are paired (i.e. Route 1 and Alpha 1 are combined).

Shield Preview

The shield preview will update dynamically as each next parameter is modified. To force preview the last parameter modified, press TAB.
