Add Template Command
Tools > Create Template from Sign Assemblies > Add Template Command

Allows template commands to be added to the template while editing.

Add Template Command Dialog Box

TRAFFIC DIRECTION

Click this item to add a traffic direction command to the template. Traffic Direction is used to orient the sign facing angle.

DATUM

Click this item to add a datum point command to the template. The datum point is a reference from which sign support symbol posts are measured from and specified in the LOCATION command.

GEOMETRY

Click this item to add a geometry command to the template. Geometry is like a reference line that is used in placing an assembly.

OFFSET GEOMETRY

Click this item to add an offset geometry command to the template. Offset geometry is like the horizontal clearance of a reference line.

LOCATION

Click this item to add a location command to the template. Location sets the center of sign support symbols.

PLACE ASSEMBLY

Click this item to add a place assembly command to the template. The Place Assembly command is used to specify a sign assembly, it's sign facing angle, a LOCATION for the first sign support symbol, and either an INPUT GEOMETRY or OFFSET GEOMETRY if there is a second support.
