Create Sign Assembly Dialog Box - Sign Data Tab

Sign Name

Displays the name of the selected sign.

State Code

Specify the sign name to be reported using a state code naming reference rather than the federal sign code.

Note: The State Code box is available only if a standard sign is selected in the sign group preview area.

Sign Status

Select the desired status in the Sign Status list.

Standard Size

Displays the default size of the selected sign.

Use Custom Sign Size

Select this check box to specify a custom width and/or height for the sign.

Custom Sign Width / Height

Specify custom width and height values for the sign.

Note: The Keep Aspect Ratio of Width and Height check box is selected by default which means that if the width value is changed, for example, the height will be calculated based on the aspect ratio.

Keep Aspect Ratio of Width and Height

Select this check box to maintain the sign's original width-to-height ratio when changing the Custom Sign Width and/or Custom Sign Height values.

Note: Adjusting the sign width and height without retaining the aspect ratio makes it possible to determine the sign group's area as necessary, however, the sign legend may be skewed as a result.

Replacement Fields 1 and 2

Select the check boxes and then type replacement text values.

Note: Since the sign legend can not be changed, the Replacement Fields are drawn in the sign assembly annotations and summary reports to denote what the new legend should be.

Alignment Spacing

Type or select the desired spacing value between the selected and neighboring signs in the Alignment Spacing box. As you specify a new value, the sign group preview will update accordingly.

Horizontal / Vertical Shift

Select the check box(es), and then type or select the desired value(s) to shift the selected sign horizontally and/or vertically in the sign group. As you specify new value(s), the sign group preview will update accordingly.
