Replace User-Defined Sign
Tools > Create Sign Assembly > Replace User-Defined Sign

Allows a user-defined sign to be replaced in a sign group.

Group Signs By Section

User-Defined Signs

Click this option to display user-defined signs in the Browse for Sign list.

GuideSIGN Signs

Click this option to display GuideSIGN signs in the Browse for Sign list.

Note:

Look In Section

Displays the path of the folder where the software will look for drawing files that contain user-defined signs. To specify a different folder, type its path in the Look In box, or click  Locate the folder, and then use the Browse for Folder dialog box to select the desired folder.

Search Section

Search for signs using Criteria and a Key word rather than by the sign name. (e.g. a search for "pede" using the Long Description criterion will return all signs from multiple classifications that include "pede" in the long description, such as "pedestrian signs").

Criteria

Select the desired criteria in the Criteria list.

Key Word

Specify a key word to search for in the box and then click GO.

GO

Starts a search using the selected Criteria and Key word specified under Search.

Note: To clear a search and return to the entire sign library, delete the key word and then click GO.

Browse for Sign

Allows you to browse for a sign. To select a sign, click the desired sign in the list.

Switch to Standard Sign

Switch to the Insert Standard Sign dialog box to insert a standard sign into the sign group.

Number of cells to display

Specify the number of signs to display in the preview area below.

Preview Area

Displays the preview of the contents of the sign library that is currently open under Browse for Sign. The selected sign displays outlined in red.

Button Option Click to...
  Previous / Next Preview the next / previous group of symbols.
  Zoom In / Zoom Out Zoom the selected symbol to the full viewing area.
Information Get information on the selected symbol.
