Allows a user-defined sign to be searched for and inserted into a sign group.
Note:
Signs need to have been previously saved into Sign Libraries via GuideSIGN's Create Sign Library tool (see Appendix -> Creating User-Defined Sign Libraries).
Inserting a standard sign adds the sign to the sign group. Use Replace Standard Sign if you need to replace signs in a sign group arrangement.
Click this option to display user-defined signs in the Browse for Sign list.
Click this option to display GuideSIGN signs in the Browse for Sign list.
Note:
Displays the path of the folder where the software will look for drawing files that contain user-defined signs. To specify a different folder, type its path in the Look In box, or click Locate the folder, and then use the Browse for Folder dialog box to select the desired folder.
Search for signs using Criteria and a Key word rather than by the sign name. (e.g. a search for "pede" using the Long Description criterion will return all signs from multiple classifications that include "pede" in the long description, such as "pedestrian signs").
Select the desired criteria in the Criteria list.
Specify a key word to search for in the box and then click GO.
Starts a search using the selected Criteria and Key word specified under Search.
Note: To clear a search and return to the entire sign library, delete the key word and then click GO.
Allows you to browse for a sign. To select a sign, click the desired sign in the list.

Displays the preview of the contents of the sign library that is currently open under Browse for Sign. The selected sign displays outlined in red.
