The security of data delivery from AviPLAN Airside Pro to AeroCENTRAL is an issue of highest priority. An AviPLAN user token ensures that the relationship between an active AviPLAN Airside Pro license and an AeroCENTRAL site is secure.
As well as data security, data integrity is of utmost concern. All AviPLAN Airside Pro sessions are created within CAD platforms, and their locations in this spatial environment are relative to each other and to a common drawing reference point, preferably a known geographic reference point. As AeroCENTRAL is a map based system, for the spatial relationship of the data to be maintained, it is imperative that the CAD system from which data is to be delivered has the correct geographical location, scale, and orientation.
To ensure geospatial data integrity, spatial boundaries are defined in the AeroCENTRAL mapping environment. Each of these boundaries will typically represent an area of the airfield expected to be populated with AviPLAN Airside Pro data. They will also represent areas of the airfield known to all operational staff under a particular name (e.g., Apron A [Alpha]), with known operational purpose and conditions. Spatial boundaries are referred to in AeroCENTRAL Stand Guide as aprons, and they are the primary level of data object, hence mandatory, and they need to be defined in AeroCENTRAL before any AviPLAN Airside Pro data can be imported to the map.
Note: The exchange of data between AviPLAN Airside Pro and AeroCENTRAL Stand Guide is only possible with AviPLAN Airside Pro (2024 or higher) that has an active license.
