    Note: This functionality is only available in AutoTURN Pro.

    Runs a visualization of the current vehicle on selected path elements.

    Note: This tool requires an existing 3D simulation in the drawing.

    Click Generate Visualization on the ribbon or toolbar and then pick the 3D simulation(s) in the drawing. Right-click to generate the visualization.

    Visualization Engine Window

    The Visualization Engine window runs a 3D visualization of the current vehicle on selected path elements. If a scenery was created using the Prepare Scene dialog box, the Visualization Engine window will also show the 3D virtual environment created by the layer/level elements assigned to the objects in your drawing.

    Tool Panel

    Button Option Click to...
    Record Record and export the current scenery and visualization to an MP4 file.
    Cameras Select the viewing angle of the scene or the vehicles in the visualization. The scene camera option allows you to manually select between the top orthogonal view or four three-quarter views of the scene. The vehicle camera option allows you to select from four preset viewing angles relative to the vehicle.
    Settings Adjust the visualization settings.
    Keys Display the keyboard and mouse commands for camera, timeline, recording, and scene options.

    Quality Select the image quality of the visualization.
    Ground Plane Turn the ground plane switch on/off.
    Vehicle Path Turn the vehicle path switch on/off.
    Wind Turn the wind effect visualization switch for the tree elements on/off.
    Launch Tutorial Launch the visualization tutorial.

    View Panel

    Button Option Click to...
    Pointer Prevent the current view from shifting or rotating when performing other actions. By default, this tool is selected when launching the Visualization Engine.
    Pan Shift the view without changing the viewing direction or magnification.
    Orbit Rotate the view around the center pivot point.
    Look Move the camera manually around the scene.

    Playback Panel

    Back Move the slider to the start of the visualization (see Slider below).  
    Play/Pause
    • Run the visualization from beginning to end or from the last vehicle position after manipulating the vehicle position with the slider (see Slider below).
    • Pause the visualization when it is running.
    Loop Have the visualization loop repeatedly.
    Slider Move the slider to the left to move the vehicle towards the start of the visualization or to the right to move the vehicle towards the end of the visualization.
    Playback Speed Set how slow or fast the visualization plays back, where 0.5 is the slowest and 10 is the fastest speed. This setting allows you to view visualizations at a visually appealing rate on all computers and to adjust for varying presentations. While AutoTURN Pro visualizations can be displayed at varying speeds, this setting is only used for the purpose of visualizing the maneuver. The speed of visualizations display is in no way related to the speed of an actual vehicle.
