If Chinese characters display as question marks in the drawing, the text style setting should be changed as follows.
MicroStation CONNECT and OpenRoads Designer Users:
- On the MicroStation CONNECT or OpenRoads Designer ribbon, click Annotate.
- On the Annotate tab, click Change Text Attributes. The Change Text Attributes dialog box displays.
- Select the Text Style check box, and then click the Browse button. The Text Styles dialog box displays.
- In the Text Styles list, click TSText.
- In the General tab, in the Font list, click Microsoft YaHei (or any other horizontal Chinese font).
- In the Height and Width boxes, change both values to 0.750.
- Click the Save button.
BricsCAD Users:
- On the BricsCAD toolbar, click Annotate.
- In the Text group, in the Text Style Control list, click TSText.
- Click the Text Styles button. The Drawing Explorer dialog box displays.
- Under Text Styles, in the Saved Font column, change the TSText value to Microsoft YaHei (or any other horizontal Chinese font).
ZWCAD Users:
- On the ZWCAD toolbar, click Annotate.
- In the Text group, click the Text Style arrow to display the list, and then click Manage Text Styles. The Text Style Manager dialog box displays.
- In the Current Style Name list, click TSText.
- Under Text Font, in the Name list, click Microsoft YaHei (or any other horizontal Chinese font).
- In the Language list, click CHINESE_GB2312, and then click Apply.
