Analyze Vehicle Clearance

Note: This functionality is only available in AutoTURN Pro.

Creates a graph showing the longitudinal profile of a selected 3D turn simulation and crossing elements.

Analysis Line Section

Analyze Vehicle Clearance Along

From the list, select the desired type of vehicle clearance analysis. The following vehicle clearance types are available:

Draw analysis line in simulation

Select this check box to draw the line representing the clearance analysis and set the color and style for the line.

Show Formatting Options Section

Select this check box to change how the report is formatted.

Horizontal Scale

This option allows the report to be stretched out or shortened to accommodate space limitations in the drawing.

Show Legend

Select this check box to have the legend drawn in the section detail.

Terrain

Set the color and line style for the line representing the terrain.

Ground Clearance

Select this check box to draw the vehicle's ground clearances (e.g. Front Clearance, Wheelbase Clearance, and Rear Clearance) and set the color and style for the line.

Vehicle Body

Select this check box to draw the line representing the top of the vehicle body and set the color and style for the line.

Body Clearance

Select this check box to draw the line representing the body clearance and set the color and style for the line.

Obstacles

Select this check box to draw the line representing the location of the obstacle with reference to the vehicle path and set the color and style for the line.

Outer Box

Sets the color for the outermost line of the report.

Text Labels

Sets the color for the horizontal and vertical axis, and legend.

Grid Lines

Select this check box to draw the horizontal grid lines and set the color, style, and spacing interval for the line.

Section Lines

Select this check box to draw the vertical lines designating change of sections in the simulation and set the color and style for the line.

Note: The report draws one section for placed simulations.

Distance Markers

Select this check box to draw the distance markers and set the color, style, and spacing interval for the marker.

Place Report

Click this button to place the longitudinal profile graph into the current drawing file.

Summary

Click this button to export the report to a text file. Specify the Station Interval value in the box in the Station Intervals dialog box, and then click OK. The .csv file is saved to the disk and then displayed on screen using Microsoft® Notepad (or your default text editor).
